The blued steel barrel is matched with a solid top brass receiver with side ejection. Subtle, hand painted detailing makes each unit truly one of a kind. The Big Boy .45 Colt features a hammer safety and—for another 19th century touch—a fully adjustable Marble semi-buckhorn rear sight with white diamond insert and brass beaded front sight. I purchased the Henry after a lot of homework.
Entirely US made, which alone makes it worth any 50 import rifles. Amazingly accurate, amazing reliability. It is a beautiful, perfectly crafted rifle. Highest quality wood I have ever seen on a firearm.
Right out of the box, fired 500 rounds, no jams, no stove piping. I rapid fired, I trick shot, I used it in nasty weather, no problems. Cheap ammo, expensive, it just performs. No complaints at all.
