I believe raingear is to keep you dry. Clothes keep you warm.Tthis is hands down the best I have ever owned or tried. Have had it for 15 years. Only a few hook holes in it but it still does not leak. Tighten the wrist enough and I can dip my arm in the water to retrieve a fish without getting my clothes wet. Total wind breaker also Long but not too long. . Takes up very little room in fishing vest when not wearing it. Don't wast your $ on anything else.

This is hands down the best rain gear available. It is dry as in WATERPROOF not water resistant. I have owned a lot of the breathable stuff and it all gets heavy and leaks (sooner or later). The other issue with the breathable stuff is it gets heavy, when wet, these do not. If you read what the Southeast Alaska guides recommend this is IT.
Soft, Quiet and Dry and will last...What more can you ask for?

Love the softness and stretchy quality of this fabric. Very comfortable to wear versus more "rigid" gear in the 100% waterproof category. The trade-off for zero water absorption or penetration is some noise and lack of breathability. But if you're out in serious rain and aren't exerting yourself too much, this gear is the way to go. Excellent for wet quad rides to your hunting area, and a good water/windproof layer when you sit for long periods.
As an added bonus, the color is a really practical shade of brownish-olive green. Splash a little mud on it, and deer can't seem to tell what they're looking at.

you have a top flap, velcro closed pocket that is top entry and then a second side entry pocket to slide your hand in behind that.A:Â
The front pockets are actually two. One opens from the top and has a flap, but behind it is what some call a "hand warmer" pocket with no closure and it is accessed from the side. I've had one since 2005, and I love it. I'm thinking of buying the new camo version. They are light, soft, and stretchy and you stay dry unless you are really exerting yourself.A:Â
According to an online "Glossary of Outerwear Terms","Double-entry pocket – A pocket that may be entered from the top or side."
It's hard to tell from the photo how that's set up. It must be zippered on the side opening. I have to admit, I've never seen this type of thing before either. I found it by Googling "Double-entry pocket".
