This light did not come close to it's one tenth power use as exspected. it draws 6.85 amps same as any halogen lamp. The instructions state to keep any thing flammable 1 meter away from the lamp (not very cool) the .7 w is clearly a type O At .7 w it would draw .05 amps at 12 volts .clearly a impossibility I'm returning mine
