this lure looks awesome! it has pretty good action and looks pretty good in the water. the only reason i gave 3 stars is because every 3 casts or so the line gets caught on the hooks and it doesnt work right! gets annoying

I have been using poppers of all kinds for many years.Started using the Heddon Pop'n Image about 5 years ago. When I hit the water I always have a rod with this tied on. I have many poppers in my tackle box and use the all with some degree of success but I always go first to my Heddon popper in baby bass. I was first attracted to this lure because of the realistic finish couple that with the superior design and you have a killer lure. The finish is durable and holds up better other poppers. A good go to lure period.

I fish these in the bays in San Diego and they are crazy, every kind of fish will go after them, so far I have caught, needlefish, sand bass, spotted bay bass, mullet, barracuda, halibut, jacksmelt, even several small sharks and a 10 pound white seabass.
I would recommend this to anyone it also kills bass in the estuaries I use the shad one and it is amazing for largemouths and corbina along with perch and flounder in the inlets and estuaries. you will not regret buying this.

This is the first year i've used these topwaters and I've had great sucess with them compared to others. First 3 trips using them I put a limit of bass in the boat each time. A total of 30 bass and out of those I had 10 that went 3-4 lbs. These things are awesome. Hint: Just add some shad attractant spray on the back feather and there's nothing that can compare with it.
