baby bass, the yellow frog color, perch color have all worked well for me. Basically anything shiny will work. I have heard good things about the clear color as well

I'ld also apreciate it if you could recommend a colour, a different size (meaning tiny, teeny, etc..). I would also apreciate it if you could tell me what other fish you catch with it.

no pickerel or pike for me in Texas, but it is a great bait. The baby bass, yellow frog, and perch colors have all worked well for me. The clear color is supposed to be good as well, I have heard. I might stay away from the teeny torpedo, I have had problems with the propeller not spinning, which has caused the bait to spin and give me a lot of line twist. Baby torpedo may be a little big, probably not for pike though. The teeny is a great size I have found, I have been able to catch small sunfish and large bass on it.

I wouldn't recomend using torpedos on pike they have strong teeth and that can make it hard to set the hook from a torpedo. You want to go with big spinners with double blades and flash foil colors if going for pike. Now the heddon torpedo is great in any size on bass.I'd go with silver black back, gizzard shad,or bone color.Use them on calm days when threre's no wind, they work better.I catch snook, tarpon, and bass when i go to Florida. They're very lethal in clear visible water, too.
