i drive a truck and a few years ago i bought a case of these at a truck stop. it was one of those just in case buys. and i was glad i did about a month later i was stuck on a highway off ramp for 2 days due to a snow storm in the west. these little meals were a life saver. they taste good nothing special but my only problem was theres not enough food for a meal i had to eat 2 of them to get full.

Everyone has their own taste so I can't comment on that except to say that it wasn't bad for us. It was better tasting than most TV dinners though.
The heating system is great and innovative And HOT.
These meals are way to pricey for the amount of food though. It's good if you want a small meal on a long hike, but that is it.

Neat heating system and keeps well, but tastes terrible. Buy a can of corned beef hash and heat it over a small fire. That'll be cheaper and taste much better.
