HeatMax warmers need 10 to 20 minutes for the warmers to reach their optimal temperatures, after which they provide hours of convenient, take-anywhere heat.

Used them last weekend on the coldest day of the deer season. My feet were cold during most of the morning hunt. The size of the insoles were laughable at best, they were a fraction of my foot size.

Don't expect these to last 9 hours. Mine gave off heat for 3-4 hours max. One good thing was the adhesive. They stayed in place even with a lot of walking.

Bought three packs of these for our whitetail hunt and out of the three guys that tried them, the vote was unanimus: they didn't seem to get warm enough and didn't seem to last very long. Don't know if we just got a bad batch or they need to adjust their specs. If they improve, I would try again.

Too short and narrow to warm your toes. Amount of heat generated is unpredictable; mostly they dont generate enough heat but once I had to take them out of one ski boot because they were too hot.
Should be worn in between two pr sox to hold them in place and get them to lay flat; if they bunch up they are like having a stone in your boot
