Sounds just like a Woodie. I can't wait to use next year. Just a little louder than the DC Wood Duck call. It's worth the money.

This call has been extremely effective so far. We finally got around to hunting ducks very late in the season (only 2 weeks left). Only ducks we have been seeing around here in central Fl have been wood ducks, and that's mainly due to the fact that we have this call. Only problem I've had with it is trying to get it to make the higher-pitched sounds of the male wood duck, or it would have gotten 5 stars. Other than that it's been great and no problems with it freezing up either.

This call is a very good call... when it works. I've found that even just a little bit of spit will freeze it up and good luck even being able to make a sound come out. That being said, when it works, it works.. Have called many wood ducks close and even had them circling without even any decoys on the water. And I am by no means an expert caller. Will use in future hunts, but am in the process of researching a different one to use when this one freezes up.. and it will ultimately freeze up.
