Havahart Live Animal 2-Door Cage Trap - Raccoon
Live animal trap
Sensitive, right, if the animai weighs 40 lbs. or more. You can call it a live animal trap, because they can walk right over the trigger that suppose to shut the doors without setting it off. Rods that hook up to the doors and trigger are poorly hooked together, too much play in them.

I bought the 42" X 10" X 13" 2 door trap and received it on 2/19/2008. Today is 2/23/2008 and so far I've been able to capture and relocate 3 racoons (3 caught over 4 nights).
The trap is well constructed and easy to operate. When I received mine it seemed that the release mechanism was a little tight. I adjusted the catch on the primary door to make it much easer for the animal to trip the release. That is the only adjustment I've made.
I'm using dry catfood for bait which is easy to load and cleanup.
If you're having issues with animals like racoons I'd highly recommend this product.

so glad i bought it
After reading one review that was not very positive, I was tempted to not purchase this product--I am so glad that I did. The very first night that we put it outside--with no bait, we caught an armadillo. We have since caught 9 of them--all different sizes, and they are no longer tearing up our lawn. great product!

In last 2 months have used this trap to catch 17 skunks, 1 fox, 3 cats, 2 ground squirrles and a Kutamonde.
Like the ease of loading with bate and gives you protection to walk up to the cage from back end. Animal cannot see you
