Hart Tackle Buzzbait
Have Worked Well For Me
I got six (6) of these at BPS, Foxboro, during a Special Sale, for $1.50 each. It was $$ well spent, as these Hart Buzz Baits HAVE produced well. A CAVEAT is necessary, however: the bargain models DID have a 'skimpy skirt', so I added a SECOND one - bought from Barlow in TX (I buy a variety of Xtra skirts from them - good quality & good pricing) - to EACH lure to "beef it up". Plus I added a plastic double-tail wiggler to the main hook.
The result is an "Improved" Hart BB, which the Bass in my area certainly HAVE shown a liking to !!!

Waste of money
I've had this in my tackle box for a few months, but I've only used it about 5 different occasions. Much of the time I use a Lunker brand buzzbait with a black lead head and a black & blue skirt. This one is a white lead-head with a Hart white skirt with red trailer strands.
On the 2nd trip out with this bait, the factory skirt started sliding down the body and on to the hook. It refused to stay in place regardless of what I did. Every cast resulted in the skirt being halfway down the hook. I replaced the factory skirt with a Strike King skirt on which looks a lot better in the water. Problem solved.
On the 5th trip out with this bait, the bottom of the blade comes off. The bottom pivot hole in the blade that the axle runs through is gone. Completely gone. This broke at the blade.
Needless to say I'm disappointed with this bait. It's an epic fail for durability in my book. I purchased a Lunker buzzbait to replace this one.

dont lose your tassles
this the best buzz bait ive found. those little red tassles seem to trigger the bites. without the tassles strikes go down to half. the fish hit it so hard though a lot of times it loses its tassles then and if one falls off i grab a hole new bait. honestly the only way to keep the tassles on is to make them out of steel the manufacturer does a good job with the bait though that is for sure im just saying if you buy one you need two

Pretty bad durability
The paint on the lead head comes off almost immediately. The skirt every other cast slides down onto the hook and the single strands come out all of the time. Rubber band isn't tight enough. I just don't think you should have to replace the skirt right after purchase. Fail.
