HME Products Reflecting Metal Tacks
A Good Buy
I have used the orange tacks for years now.....in daylight they are difficult to see so other hunters can't find them easily.
In darkness the stand out very well.....and can be distinguished easily from the white tacks other hunters use.
Over the years I have only seen one other hunter using the HME orange tacks on the public lands I hunt in Ohio......these HME orange trail marker tacks are an unusual color and stand out above the rest in reflectiveness and price per unit.

I've hunted deer for 27 years and utilize trail marker tacks since I began. I tried this brand last year and was extremely disappointed. Hunting public land, it is not uncommon to see other hunters trails marked with white tacks. So I tried the red version of this product as well as a green tack. The green did not reflect at all and the red tacks stood out only because the color did not blend in with the surroundings. The red did not reflect either. Orange and White tacks seem to work OK, but I reverted back to my old stand-by brand. Be warned...Use white only of this brand and don't expect great results.

Let your light shine
I probably use about 8-10 boxes of these tacks a year scouting, running trail cameras and hunting. The hunt club that i belong to leases 10K+ acres and i absolutely have to have these things to get in and out of the woods. i sent one of my buddies to a honey hole that I have been hunting and he had never been there before. He told me that he was a little concerned about getting back to his truck one afternoon until he turned on his flashlight - he said the way out lit up like the interstate. It's easier to find your way in the dark than in the daylight. They come highly recommended. .
