When I went to get this I was originally going to get a different brand and a longer one. The 34" seemed too long though and the shorter one was out of stock, not to mention this one had a brace and an extra hook against the tree. It went in fairly easy once I pushed hard enough while turning and was very steady. I have no problems hanging my bow up there or worrying about it falling off. The hook that goes against the tree was perfect for hanging my quiver on as well. For the price I don't think it can be beat. The only think I disliked was the length, I wish it was about 6"+ longer as I wanted to be able to stand up and my bow be almost in shooting position. I had to put it on the opposite side of my grip hand because if not you have to "reach around" the bow which I didn't like so I made it where movement was as little as prossible to get it out. Overall a great product and I'm pleased with it.

I purchased this due to the price advantage over the others, and, liked the additional hangers and fold down brace. The fold down brace ads holding capacity as some bow holders will sag down with the weight of the bow. Not this one. If I had to say anything bad, it would be that it should be a little longer, by about 6". My bow is positioned to my left and hangs with the lower cam beside my head while sitting. I would prefer it a little more out in front of me. But, with a little trial and error I will eventually find the best place to screw it in. All in all, it allows me to relax and be much more comfortable in the stand with my hands free.

Ok, here's the deal, you're tired of holding your bow for hours, well now you don't have to experience arm fatigue, worrying if you're going to drop your expensive bow 20' to the ground or whether or not you can play solitaire on your iPhone while balancing your bow in your lap.
I use this hanger and it's been great!! There's no worry on my part for any of the above concerns! I can sit in my stand and relax until the moment arrives and I'm easily reaching for my bow.
The quality is great, the backpack hanger is used to start the pilot whole for the main hanger screw and believe me, it works like a hot knife through butter...no joke. I shoot an expensive bow and I'm extremely frugal when it comes to what I use and this is on the top of my 'Must Have' list for any stand I hang or climb with.
Once you use it for the first time, you'll be wondering why you didn't have it sooner!
