I bought two of these for my Ruger Security 6 and they are a much better way to quickly load the cylinder than manually loading each round. I originally bought them because my wife doesn't like the idea of a loaded gun in the house, but I still wanted to be able to quickly load the gun in case of an emergency. I will admit it can be a little cumbersome to fit all six rounds into their chambers in such close proximity to the rest of the frame, but the speedloader is still faster than loading by hand. It is easy to load and use and it securely holds all six rounds in place until the knob is twisted to release them. They are also very lightweight, even when loaded, but feel sturdy and reliable despite their cheap price. I would reccomend them to anybody who wants a fast way to load their revolver in an emergency or just a way to make loading at the range less of a hassle. At this price, you could easily buy 5 or 6 and have a nice reserve readily on hand.

Great speed loader...would recommend for S&W 357 Mag.

good functional speedloader
works as intended. would have 5 stars if it was all metal. the black housing part is strong, but plastic. it holds the rounds tight and is quick to release when you need it to. if you have stock grips you will have no issues. mine stick out about 1/4" and the speed loader can bind against it while loading. I found that if I rotate the cylinder as you are reloading all the rounds will start to feed and then you just release them. definitely need to practice more and with different rounds. i only tried .38 special LRN so they are a tiny bit longer than others. I might shave down the grip where needed to allow better operation. not a fault of the speed loader, just my funky grips.
