HKS Speed Loaders
I bought this for my Ruger LCR XS .38 Special even though its designed mostly for S&W J-frame revolvers. It keeps 5 rounds secure & rides nicely in a pocket w/out dropping your bullets out. The only catch is that if your LCR has Hoage grips, the HKS will get stuck on them if you fully insert the rounds into the cylinder. It works just fine if you hold your revolver down or at an angle, insert the tips of your rounds into the cylinder up to the case, then "click" the HKS & let gravity guide them home. Great product for the price and very useful.

The "fits " list gave me fits
I have no complaints about the loaders, everyone knows that these are the gold standard. The problem I had was with the limited description of which model fits what pistol. I bought two of the model 10-A's thinking that they would fit my S & W 686, my bad. A model 66 isn't the blue version of the 686. When they arrived I looked at the back of the packaging and saw that I needed the model 586-A. I was going to do an exchange and found that the loaders I needed weren't available. I picked these out along with a couple of boxes of shell and used my reward points so instead of the hassle of sending them back for credit, I sold them to a friend who has a Dan Wesson and picked up what I needed online I'm not downing Bass, they sent me what I ordered, it's just that viewing the info on the front or back of the HKS blister card tells you exactly what fits what.

Great Quality Product
The HkS speed loader is very well made and holds the ammo in tight. A simlpe but pull proof tool that allows quick and easy loading of your revolver. Just make sure you buy the right model number for the gun you have. I will pick some more up when I get a different revolver.

the only beef I have with this speed loader is the close tolerances between the speed loader and the actual grips. I have S&W model 29 with the original wood grips the speed loader is kinda hard to load in a fast motion because it hits the grips
