These poppers do a great job of attracting fish and getting them to bite. The second I drop the chartreuse one I own into the water silver-dollar sized bluegill and sunfish come around to inspect it. Then it's only a matter of time before they start attacking it. Yesterday I was out on a cloudless day on a new pond I had never fished before and my friend wasn't having much luck, so I tied this on for him. Within less than 10 minutes he had landed 3 beautiful bluegill, one of which was almost larger than my palm! This popper flat out catches fish, no ifs ands or buts about it, this thing works.

These flies will show you a good time. The yellow/black (school bus) and chartreuse/black are my favorites.
