The name says it all. I use this choke on my 12 gauge with amazing results. I have had no problem shooting at ranges past 80 yards when goose hunting. This is a great choke for open water where the distance of your shots are almost always over 40 yards.

If you are looking for the perfect tube for pass shooting, this is it. HeviShot nailed the specs on this tube, perfect patterning way out there so you can hit the birds that don't want to commit.

I own these chokes for both my Xtrema2 and SBE2. Throws out some nice uniform patterns out long distances. I use Hevi-Metal and Hevi-Shot shells most of the time, but this choke also performs well with other brands. Look for the combo choke set which also includes a medium range choke.

Crushed Mallards this past weekend with this choke and HeviMetal #2s. Puts pellets on birds at 40+ yards with ease. Great price for a great choke, can't beat it.

You can shoot regular steel loads through it. This choke is NOT rated for shot greater than BB or over 1550 fps.A:Â

This choke will handle the black cloud loads fine, I haven't shot any personally but know people who have.A:Â
yes they can handle it but black clouds wad may hang the ports of the tube. Although the tube is more than able to handle the load I would not recommend shooting the black cloud loads through it.A:Â
If you choose to shoot blackcloud. My opinion is to use hevishot in place of blackcloud.A:Â
Actually, Black cloud ammunition will work very well through these ported choke tubes. just remember to pattern your gun and choke tube set with as many different ammunitions as possible to maximize your loads effectiveness.
