HEVI-Shot® Magnum Blend™ Turkey Load Shotshells
I tried the Hevi-Shot Magnum Blend Turkey load in a Stoeger P-350 with a Hevi-Shot choke to see if I could maximize my pattern past 40 yards. The shell patterned very well, but the regular Hevi #6's & #7's still give a higher pellet count out of my setup. Hevi-Shot makes some of the best loads you will ever throw at a turkey. Catch them when there is rebate available and they are almost affordable! :)

Def would reccomend
I used the 3.5" shells this past turkey season and was amazed with the range on them. I had two gobblers come in to 45yards and they were hanging up just outside my decoys. So I held my sight on the head of one and it dropped. I mean stone cold dead drop. Usually they flap around for 10mins but this one was DEAD! Then I took my gf out for a big tom that we had seen numerous times in a area but we didnt know where he was gonna come out. Well came out at 58yards and I told her to aim right on his eyeball. So she let it fly and it dropped. I have no doubt in my mind of shooting these shells well beyond 40yards. PROVEN! Also just a plain full choke. No special choke.

I have used Hevi-shot for some time and when they came out with the "magnum blend" 12ga, 3.5" shells I bought a box and took it out opening day........surprise!!!! the first shell I picked out would not chamber due to the shell being crushed during the manufacturing process, the others were fine. When you figure the cost of each shell they should have a much better line quality control. Anyway I contacted customer service and gave them all the information and for 11 days heard NOTHING!! Still waiting Hevi-shot.....you said you replace defective shells???? when??? Unhappy!!!!!

WOW! took a gobbler at 10 yds and blew his head off, i can see these killing turks at 50 yds with ease. pricey but worth it for the long shots and a clean confirmed kill. but i am gonna use these as a follow up shot to 3" Winchesters, (if need to)... but they are awesome!
