I have always used the grim reaper expandable broadheads. When they came out with even a larger cutting blade a few years ago I thought I would give it a try. My 1 st deer using them went 50 ft and flopped over. A good hit with a 2 in grim reaper 100 grain will bleed them out fast and that is why I purchased them.

by coyoteguru very good
i bought these after using a similarly designed expandable that was alright. these don't exactly fly like a field point from my barnett quad 400 crossbow. but that could be due to the higher speed. but after sighting in with the included practice tip they flew were hitting the same spot everytime. if you're able, make sure your hunting tips are sighted in also, mine shot a little different than my practice tip. my only complaint is that they broke after hitting the shoulder blade when i shot my deer yesterday. but it was a bad shot, severely quartering towards me. i hit it in the neck cutting an artery and just missing the lungs. but it opened the deer up like a bag of blood. easy to follow blood trail. could stand still and see the blood trail for a good 20 yards ahead. both holes were gushing blood and were huge. will definitely buy again even though they break easier than other. overall a huge hole.

I was very impress with these broadheads the other day when I shot a 150 pound sow. The sow didn't even go 10 yards from where I shot her. It was tons of blood everywhere. It was a very easy blood trail to follow. The grim reaper broadheads will be the only broadheads I will use for now on!

I been shooting my bow for a few weeks now, and I was looking for a broad head that was accurate, dependable, and does quick, clean kills. I been looking at the Grim Reapers on YouTube and reviews and got a lot of positive comments about the Grim Reaper Broad heads. In all I decided to by them. They were a little pricy, but they were true about accuracy. With the practice tips I been doing 1 1/2" groupings at 20yds. If you have a compress foam target the practice heads will take chunks out of it. In all, I CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR THE PIGS GRUNTING IN THE FALL!!! After hunting season I'll edit the review.
