I've used this head for many javelina and now out it through a deer. Never had a problem with blades opening, they produce a knarly wound channel. Gone through many rib and pig shoulders with no bend blades or stoppage. They don't run far after getting hit with one of those...WATCH EM DROP!

I had buddies convince me to switch to the Rage 2 blades a couple years ago. After not being totally satisfied I switched to a new front deploying broadhead. I am very glad I did! This broadhead shoots just like field points! No need to even practice with their practice head they give you. Pretty sure they just give you one to keep up with competitors who do the same. Shooting this broadhead from my Stryker Strykezone crossbow it left a huge entry AND exit hole. Blood trail that I could follow with no bending over and a pretty brisk walk 60 yards to my 11 point! SWITCH FROM RAGE AND SEE THE DIFFERENCE!

I never had liked the idea of mechanical broadheads until i shot a grim reaper. I shot a doe at 15 yards last night out of a tree stand. I hit her high in the back, about an 2 inches from the spine, and the arrow exited low on the other side. I busted through a rib on both entrance and exit, but the broadhead is fine. I actually cleaned it and put it back in my quiver. As for the blood trail, i had no problems following it. She ran 40-50 yards before piling up.

A:
Yes, but you don't need it. These fly JUST like a field point!A:
Yes It does come with a practice tip. I bought some Grim Reaper White-tail specials a week a go. If you have a stacked layer foam target the practice tips will take chunks out of it.1 of 1
