With a range of up to 330 feet, you don't have to skip activities that aren't right by the grill. Featuring a large digital LCD screen, it's easy to see the desired temperature you have chosen alongside the current temperature of the meat. Thermometer allows you to choose programs for eight different meats and four levels of doneness. Four verbal and audio alerts keep you informed about the progress of the meal, from almost ready to overcooked. The thermometer also sounds alarms when selected temperature is reached and if the unit goes out of range. Sensor unit measures temperatures from 32°F to 572°F with detachable stainless steel probe. Comes with detachable belt clip, table stand, two AA batteries (main unit), and two AAA batteries (sensor).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for anyone! I purchased this to use with my smoker. I don't have to open the door on the smoker now to check my meat. I now will start using this for the grill and the kitchen oven as well. The features I really like about this thing are: 1.) Simple opperation, push buttons that anyone at any age can use. 2.) Wireless operation up to 330 feet! 3.) It talks to you! It tells you when your meat is almost done, and then again when it is done. There are 2 volume levels. 4.) The screen is backlight so you can see it in the dark. I would recomend this to anyone March 13, 2008
