Grandma Classic Lures - 9'' or 13''
Grandma Classic Lures are tried and true trophy muskie baits! Producing an outstanding action that appeals to the biggest, meanest muskies around, the Grandma Lures sport an extremely tough extended diving lip, premium components, and a high-impact plastic body built to withstand vicious strikes.
The 9'' Grandma lures weigh 3 oz. and will dive 10' to 12' feet with standard braided line. However, with new super lines, these lures run 18' to 20'.
The 13'' Grandma Classic Lures will dive 15' to 18' with standard braided line. The Kevlar, Spiderwire® and mono lines let this lure run 25' to 30' deep. Weight: 5.7 oz.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jordi Good quality but no bites
My Bro. and I each got one. We used them on our Pike Fishing trip which was a week long, but no bites on the "Grandma's". They stay too close to the surface (3 ft.) for a crankbait. We are unimpressed with performance, although they are high quality. "Rapala" and any "Cisco" brand ended up paying for themselves but not these.

I am a muskie, pike and walleye fisherman. I purchased this 13" lure for fall trolling. This lure is not made for your typical trolling rod you will defiantly need a bay trolling rod! I will not be using this lure till october 2011 i will write another review then. This lure is HUGE, way bigger than i thought. The rod holders i use will hold the pressure from the huge lip it has on it but if something hits it which will not be a small fish im scared that the whole system will be pulled in the water and the scotty rod holder will snap. I will have to loosen the drag to prevent loosing everything. Before ordering look at a tape measure at 13" and is about 4" tall im sure it will produce like all the other grandma lures i have!

I love my grandma and my Grandma Lure! Caught my first muskie ever on my very first muskie outing on a firetiger clown Grandma. When casting the Grandma, you can use a steady retrieve or a jerkbait style retrieve; both produce great action. If you're familiar with the typical action of a hard jerkbait, that's pretty much how the Grandma looks as it moves through the water.
