Grandma Classic Lures - 6''
Designed for casting or trolling, the Grandma Lure produces a unique action that has proven over and over to be incredibly effective at attracting aggressive strikes from a wide variety of predatory fish. Whether you throw Grandma into fresh or saltwater, you can count on the Grandma Lures to deliver everything from muskie, pike, salmon, bass and walleye to snook, tarpon, wahoo and dolphin. The Grandma Lures sport an extremely tough lip and a high-impact plastic body to withstand vicious strikes from toothy predators. 6'' Grandma lures weigh 1.3 oz. and dive 5' to 8' with standard braided line. However, with new super lines, these lures run 18' to 20'.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by POWERFISHERMAN Most productive lure I have ever used
I was so eager to try this lure out, that I just started using it right away. On my 3rd cast, I hooked a fish and landed it with ease. It was a 12 inch northern Pike. But about 20 minutes later, I hooked a much bigger fish. I set the hook perfectly, locked the drag down as far as possible, but the fish still kept going at a strong steady pace. Once it stopped running I got some line back on the reel. It took off swimming extremely fast once again. I went back and fourth with this fish until we finally landed it. I measured and weighed this fish on an official scale. It was a Northern Pike. It was exactly 40 inches. And it weighed just short of 23 pounds! it was the fattest and strongest pike caught or seen. Normally a pike that long would weigh about 19 pounds, put it was just so fat, that it was 4 pounds heavier than a normal fish that size. The only problem was that the fish really messed up that lure and it dosent work very well anymore. But aside from the fact that it is not a very durable lure, it is still the most effective lure I have ever used in my life.

I love my grandma and my Grandma Lure! Caught my first muskie ever on my very first muskie outing on a 6 inch firetiger clown Grandma Lure. When casting the Grandma, you can use a steady retrieve or a jerkbait style retrieve; both produce great action. If you're familiar with the typical action of a hard jerkbait, that's pretty much how the Grandma looks as it moves through the water.
