I will start by saying this is the first climber I have ever bought. Not the first I've used, but the first I've bought. I thought this was gonna be my fit, I was sadly mistaken. Upon the first use of this stand we hung it at the bottom of a tree and simply just tested out the seat. It BROKE... the back and bottom are held together with a zipper that broke clean off and no one was close to the weight limit even slightly. I was quickly shipped a new seat from Gorilla after calling customer service and all was well. That is until the bolts that hold the pivoting arms onto the stand started squeaking out of control. After a few uses and being in the cold and rain a few times the bolts squeak at every movement... extremely annoying when one is trying to be as quiet as possible in the woods. Sadly the stand is being taken back to Bass Pro and exchanged for a Summit Goliath. I wouldn't recommend this stand. I thought it was gonna be a good one and maybe for some it is, not for me however.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Peyton00 great buy
This is my first climbing stand I've had. It was a great purchase. It was extremely quiet when I climbed into the tree. I thought the seat was extremely comfortable. Everything was really easy to assemble and I got a 9 point my first trip. All in all, this is a great stand for long sits and has all of the quality and comfort you could ever need in a climber. Definitely would suggest this stand for my friends and family.

the stand is very confortable and has quality seat and back rest. i personally do not like the way it connects to the tree which is like a ole man you run the cable around and through and then run a pin through it... but the stand is defnitally a quality stand light weight and quiet

Stable and comfy set n back yard to try to set seat had trouble with lower platform cables seemed hard to remove. I too had issues with shaving the red portion of the cables off because of sharp edges on the inside of the cable tube holes.Took a few e-mails but got through even got postage paid e-mail print out and have stand at Gorillas facility now. They said 2 days to inspect before new stand was sent back to me. Be persistent backstapassasin1. Keep trying! This is a safety issue that they can't ignore
