Bought this stand because my other stand got stolen off of public land. The stand is easy to put up and is the most secure stand i have ever sat in.The only thing I dislke is that the platform is on the smallish side.The seat is comfortable but also a bit small.
Overall a great stand for the price.

I own 6 gorilla stands which I like very much. Last year a purchased 2 more of the new style stands (King Kong HX) The quality is there just as the old stands. Don't care for the single post from seat to platform. My biggest complaint is the creaky seat. I wish they hadn't changed the stand. They were a great stand.

used the stand for the fist time this year. Put an extra ratchet strap on it, the strap that comes with it will loosen up some. The tac weld was bad where the seat level bolt is installed, snapped one evening while setting on the stand "I am 6 ft 190lbs".

This stand is a decent product well built and strong. The Gorilla was easy to handle , ok at hiking it in and easy to place on a tree. I would like to see an easier way to stack the gorilla sticks for packing. I will buy another from Gorilla.
