this is a great buy. it was easy to set up and take down. have not hunted out of it but have been up a tree with it quite a few times. great stand. the only flaw is the seat. it is held in place by straps. the seat slides up and down the rail. all in all a great stand for the price.

Most tree stands have a "V-shaped back" that has teeth on it, and is attached to the bottom seat portion, and is used for gripping the tree. Does this stand have a "V-back" or a round back with teeth on it?Answers
A:Â
The tree stand as you face the tree has a V-Shape in the front with teeth, but there's a cable that goes around the back of the tree. Hope this helps you .Answers

Stupid question but does this stand work for archers? I've seen guys talk about some tree stands are good for gun hunters but not achers. Would like to buy this as my 1st climber but only if it's a good one for archery.Answers
A:Â
There's no questions that are stupid and one is not sure, you're wise to ask. As to the tree stand, I had two and Im very pleased with them even though my hunting buddies always want to use one and they are very comfortable and easy going up and down the tree. A person could sent in the tree for along while with no problem. A big yes, I would recommend it; but like anythingelse you need to practice with it going up and down a tree and become comfortable and most of all practice with you saftey harnest. Good hunting.Top 500 Contributor

It will work fine for archers. Keep in mind though, depending on your stature, that you may need to stand to have the best shot opportunity at your target. I have taken successful shots sitting and standing out of this stand. Make sure you practice both conditions prior to the season so you're comfortable and know your limitations. Hope this helps.Top 250 Contributor

Absolutely!! Almost every climber works for archery, some work better...i.e. summit dagger, openshot, but this one is almost as good. You just want to stay away from stands with a shooting rest that sits above the bar, other than that you will love all the ease of a climber, but PLEASE remember to wear a harness!!Details:Â
I was putting my stand together and noticed there were 2 screw-in adaptors on the front of the seat section of the stand.Answers

The manufacturer's recommendation is 8" - 20" trees.A:Â
8 in to a 22 in is what they say but I've gotten mine on a little bigger.A:Â
the groilla stand will attache to very large trees to very small ones and still climb goodA:Â
Not sure exactly what you're asking, but, I've tried 12 in diameter trees reducing only a couple of inches at 25 feet to trees 18 inches in diameter with little to no reduction at 25 feet. The larger you can get it on at the ground with little reduction at height you hunt, the better. generally I stick to the latter with this stand.A:Â

8-22, please do not buy this i reccomend you use a good aluminum self climber with and actual chair or i highly recommend that you buy a 2 man treestand.1 of 1
