I've wanted one of these Golights for years, and finally got around to lightening my wallet and getting one.
The light itself works very well however, I wasn't thrilled about the mounting system.
It comes with a permanent shoe - which is fine if you happen to have something that you want to permanently mount it to.
The suction mount just doesn't work at all for me.
And the portable magnetic shoe, which suits my needs, is an optional accessory which costs $33.33 with shipping.
All in all considered its pricey, but there is no substitute.

a very bight light great for searching areas close and far. only problem being it takes a little to get use to the remote, the directional switch doesnt stop moving the light when you let it off. had a lot of compliments on this light, and the optional magnetic base holds good at road speeds
