The number one reason I picked this rule to buy was, My fishin buddy had one. And it worked better than the one I had. For one it was longer and wider, and gives you a close weight of the fish by it's length. That helps when you need to save time in a fishing tournament. It gives more information to me. I measure all my fish so I know who gets culled first and so on.If they are close to the same or equal I keep the fresh one. I also use a balance too. I feel it makes for less mistakes...
