Gold Tip Velocity XT Arrows 5 5 3 3
Great Arrow! Great Price I have been shooting these arrows for 6 months now. I switched from Beemans to the Gold Tips. These arrows are extremely fast and are very accurate. I have experienced no deviation from shot to shot. I have worn out my fletchings before I have even began to see any wear on the shafts. I consistantly practice at 60-70 yards and these arrows are just like the name says, GOLD! I am excited for hunting and 3D tournaments this year. These arrows make it possible to use the same set up for both. Good Luck! December 7, 2010
Great arrow I got these arrows for an out of state hunting trip. They fly better than any arrow ive shot before. I highly recomend this product to anyone. September 14, 2010
Great New Arrows I got the new Goldtip Velocity arrows and gave them a try. They have worked great so far. I was looking for an arrow with a stiff (.300) spine but without the heavy gr/inch as other shafts (10-13 gr/inch). I am trying to achieve a higher front of center, without having an arrow so heavy I lose to much speed. These arrows are great! Helped me do exactly what I needed and they fly great, are strong, and come all ready to go. If your looking for a stiffer spined arrow for some speed or some more front of center, these are the ones you want. June 14, 2010

Yes. When shooting a whisker biscuit you can shoot any arrow you choose. The only thing that you need to worry about is the spine and length of the arrow for your bow.
The whisker biscuit will shoot anything. They are pretty awesome.

If your draw length is between 26 and 28 inches you can shoot a 340 spine. If your draw length is between 29 and 31 inches you can shoot a 300 spine arrow.

Your draw length and rest will decide the length of you arrows. I have a 28 inch draw length and shoot 28 inch arrows.

Per Gold Tip:

For all arrows under 29" in shaft length, shoot the 5575 shaft size. For all arrows 30" and over, shoot the 7595 shaft size.

You need to take into account several things with your bow. Speed of your bow, arrow length, and draw weight. To give you a general idea, If your arrow length is between 25-27 inches with your 60-lb draw, you can use a 500 spine arrow (6.3 gns per inch). If your arrow length is between 27-31 inches, you can use a 400 spine arrow (7.4 gns per inch).

Your bow speed is important because if you use a release and your bows IBO speed is between 315-350 fps, you should choose one spine heavier. For example, if you need a 400 spine, you should go with the 300 spine for this arrow if your bows IBO speed is that high. If not, you are good to go with the first recommendation.

Depends on your set up. I shoot a 28-inch draw and my arrows are 28 inches. I use a drop away rest, which sits behind the saddle of the riser about 1-inch. If I didnt have a drop-away, I would opt for arrows that are a little longer. If you are not sure, take your whole bow into Bass Pro and they will measure what you need for your set up. They are good to go.

That would all depend on what type of rest that you are shooting. I shoot 27.5 inch arrows with a 28.5 inch draw length and I use a rip cord fall away rest. I would say that 27 or 27.5 inch shafts should work just fine for you.
