Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love it they are very powerful and even better when you put a broad head on the end I shot my first doe and it went clean threw October 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Strong and accurate I am very picky and exact when it come to weight, accuracy, FOC and dependability. The Gold Tip shafts are the best I have found. I shoot a Barnett DOA chronographed at 377 fps with the gold tip laser II crossbow bolts. My bolts weigh 420 grains completely built. Barnett recommends 425 grains. I called Barnett customer service and they told me 5 grains is no problem but would not recommend any less. Every bolt impacts the target at the exact same spot - dead on. When I switch to broadheads, the broadheads impact 2 inches low at 20 yards. This is due to the broadheads and not the arrows. I have been archery hunting for 40 years and have never seen a Broadhead hit exactly where the field points hit. I shoot with a Nikon Bolt XR scope with zero reset turrets. I sight in at 20 yards with field tips then zero out the turrets. When I switch to broadheads I move my scope 8 clicks up and I'm ready to hunt. I have shot thousands of shots with field points and broadheads out to ranges of 80 yards. Yes I'm sighted in out to 80. I have never had to shoot a deer at that yardage but I could if needed. BOTTOM LINE : BUY SOME GOLD TIPS AND HAVE FUN SHOOTING!! For those who have insert problems, here is your answer: Clean the inside of the shaft. Use sandpaper and lightly clean the inside of the shaft. Use alcohol and a q-tip to clean the inside of the shaft. Use the sandpaper and clean / scratch the insert. Use GOLDTIPS instant glue. 2 drops on your insert then install in the shafts. Quickly. Make sure the inserts seats in the shift all the way. You should not have any problems with inserts again. Practice and have fun!! Bag yourself a bigen this year!! August 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Gold Tip Laser II Crossbow Arrows I switched to carbon arrows back when I would shoot my compound. I loved them then and I love these for my crossbow just as much! These are durable arrows that can take a beating! They are reasonably priced and seem to be consistent on weight. Make sure when ordering that you get the correct nocks. BPS customer service was great when I had ordered the wrong nocks. Sent me the right set and just returned the wrong ones back in the same box. Very happy with this purchase. September 5, 2011
