This is one awesome turkey choke! Most 10- and 12-gauge factory threaded guns can become instant turkey hunting specialists with this choke -- it's highly dependable, effective, and deadly. Conical parallel design combined with exclusive outward angled diagonal ports that improve patterns up to 20%. Ports also reduce muzzle jump and recoil for faster and more accurate follow-up shots. The directional angle of the ports is 135 degrees away from the shooter, reducing side blast prevalent in ports 90 degrees or less. Because of its sharp angle, the inside forward lip ''grabs,'' stabilizes, and slows the wad for faster separation of wad and shot column. This feature combined with a parallel section where the constriction is held constant produces great patterns. The extended portion of the choke tube extends 1-3/4'' from the muzzle and isn't noticeable when shooting. Matte black finish. Lead shot only.
Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 56 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just as important as the gun! I am not saying this is the best choke for every gun out there but it is the best I have used in mine. I am shooting a Charles Daly pump that I have had for a long time now. For years I have shot the regular chokes and have had success but my shots were limited a lot more. My pattern at 40 yards with any of my standard chokes was standard at best. With this choke I am patterning at 60 yards what I was doing at 40 yards with my old choke. This all depends on which shot you are using as well. I have found that while each choke is different so is each choke with different makes and sizes of shot. I say this because they are all not the same so you need to find what combination works best for you and the gun. The longest shot I have made yet was at 57 yards and it just dropped it right there with very little flopping around. For any one who has interest my set up is a Charles Daly 12 gauge pump, Gobblin thunder .680 choke, Winchester Supreme Elite Xtended Range. 3-1/2" 4 and 5 shot both work really well. I also have the red dot scope for more accurate shots especially when they are on the move. Try the choke and you will be glad you did. If it doesn't pattern as well as you hoped first try another type shot before switching to a different choke. Also works great in the Benelli Super Nova. February 6, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Long Distance Choke I have been using the Kicks choke on my Mossberg 835 for the last three turkey seasons. This is the tightest choke I have ever used. It outperforms the factory chokes and holds a good pattern for a longer distance. I just bought one for my daughters remington 870 20 gauge. if it does as good as job as mine I think she will really be pleased with this chokes performance. Anyone that turkey hunts needs this choke. January 19, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Great One I purchased the .655 for my 870. Love the tight pattern and the easy removal of the tube from the gun. I also have the X-Full High Flyer. Looking foward to more purchases in the future. December 29, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by great choke another great choke by kicks, I have three different ones for my SBE 2 for duck hunting and I just got this one for turkey hunting. I set up on a big goobler this weekend and knocked down a 11 inch beard from 55 yards one shot 3 1/2 5 shot. April 9, 2008

Hi, per the manufacturer web site, the High Flyer 12g model HFRemProBore12g will work for a Remington Versamax. You will want to locate a choke tube listed to fit a Remington Pro Bore. I am sorry but at this time, we do not offer this choke tube to fit your VersaMax. Thank you

Hi, thank you for your question. For a Beretta A400 Unico Choke Tube you will want to look for a one listed to fit a Beretta Optima Choke HP tube, which these will not work.

A:
Invector interchangeable choke system: The barrel of the 20-gauge gold has been back-bored and is threaded to accept the Browning Invector-Plus Interchangeable Choke tube. The Invetor-Plus system is not interchangeable with the Standard Invector chokes. The degree of choke is indicated twice on each choke tube: Inscribed on the side of the tube, and indicated with a “notch” code on the top rim of the tube.
The 12 gauge gold shotgun has a back-bored barrel and is threaded to accept Invector-Plus choke tubes only. They are not interchangeable with 12 gauge Standard Invector choke tubes. Do not use Invector-Plus tubes in barrels threaded for Standard Invector tubes. Do not use Standard Invector tubes in barrels threaded for Invector-Plus tubes.

The size varies based on the constriction that the choke provides. Your gun and load will pattern better with a particular constriction. You may want to reach out to Kick's Ind directly and ask them which constriction they recommend for your load and shot size. Hope this helps!
