I just got this item before xmas for a xmas gift for my fiance', it is an awesome gift, very pleased, however when I received the item, it was scratched , other than that it is a very good item so far, he has taken it hunting several times and plans to use it while bass fishing.

My husband is a hunter and mentioned that he would like a bow mounted camera. I have been told the bow mounted cameras I have looked at do not have great picture quality. Store clerks have suggested the GoPro Hero 3 instead. It seems to be more versitile. I can't decide. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
