As a dedicated fishing glove I would have expected something a little better. I haven't used them yet, and I'm not really looking forward to. My pet peeve about these is that they lay nice and flat when NOT being worn. What this means is that whey you put them on, your hand naturally hollows as your fingers flex to their resting / comfortable position. In this position, these gloves bunch up with a considerable amount of extra material in the palm, and that material has to fold up and feel awkward when holding the rod. This is particularly the case since the palm is re-enforced with a thin, but firm layer of rubber or something which gives you uneven contact and pressure points.
For something that will probably be worn all day long, I can see that getting pretty sickening really fast. I ordered them online, and did not expect this from a specialized glove. If I had tried them on in the store, I would not have bought them. I will be trying to trade them away at our local equipment swap in a couple of weeks.

Very comfortable to wear. The Stitching is very poor. I have worn them for 4 days of fishing and they already are falling apart.
Also the grip in the palms of the hands are fading away already. After 4 days it looks like they have been through 2 seasons of fishing.
I would not recommend.

Added control for paddling, also great for handling fish with sharp gill plates. If you don't like nicks and cuts from handling your catch, these are a must have!

This is the second pair I have owned. I re-stitched the first pair several times & they lasted four seasons. The new pair had some stitches missing when I tried them on. I fixed them but the stitching quality is poor. They are however easy to fix.
