thin, but effective
i dont think these are very durable, but they kept sun from burning my hands, and kept me from slicing my skin while sliding fishing line. they also helped against mosquitos from biting my hands.

I had a pair of these same Brand gloves previously, were stolden. That pair had a light leather palms. These do not have the leather Palms. These are slightly higher in price also..

Great protection from the sun
I bought these gloves following a recommendation from a dermatologist who is also and avid fisherman and does a great deal of time in a kayak. She recommended these glove over a lot of more expensive brands. I have found them very comfortable. They fit well and don't hinder me using my reel, tying knots or baiting hooks. I fish for catfish after the temperatures climbs here in east Georgia, and some days are very uncomfortable. Wetting these gloves occasionally makes my day a lot easier to bear while catching my freezer fish for the year. But this type of fishing does result in soiled gloves from handling fish and bait. I keep a small bottle of Dawn Dish Detergent in the Catfish boat. I wash the gloves while wearing them. They dry fast and seem to retain their fit pretty well so far. I have come to appreciate these gloves at the end of the trip when I take them off and see how well they have protected my skin. I take a steroid resulting from chemotherapy and skin cancer. The sun is really a challenge without a lot of protection. Get some of these gloves now and avoid all of what could happen later in life.
