Too slippery, like the lite color and wieght. Feels nice but can hold on to reel properly. They're better sun gloves out there for fishing.

Extremely Good For Aging Hands
I have been fishing all my life and I have found these gloves extremely good for protecting my aging hands. I am not just suggesting they protect my hands from the damaging sunlight, but they really protect them from damaging bumps and scrapes. Every trip, I manage to bang or scrape the backs of my hands on somethig and these light weight gloves are still storng enough to keep the skin from peeling back and my bleeding the rest of the day. Yes, they are that strong, but light weight to a point they are comfortable and you can handle fish and tie your knots without interferrance

Don't waste your money
I just received a pair of the Dr. Shade Sports gloves and they were extremely small (I purchased L/XL). They literally split the seams when I put them on. I haven't tried them in the field yet... I don't think they will get that far (I'm leaving to go peacock bass fishing tomorrow in the Amazon) I guess you should believe the bad reviews.

I bought some of these and they came apart at the seams the first time I used them, and I had very strange looking sunburned spots on the tops of my thumbs. I whip stitched them back together and they have worked fine since. Just be prepared to do some sewing if you order them. The quality is way suspect when they come out of the package.
