Glacier Glove Dr. Shade Sun Gloves
My New Favorite Pair of Gloves
I hike and climb. I like fingerless gloves to keep the sun off my hands and still be able to use my fingertips. I was looking for something that was a thin material with a good SPF, and also not black so they wouldn't be hot. These are the ones! Although my fingers are long, I ordered the small/medium because my hands are 7 1/2 inches at the widest part around my knuckles. They seemed big at first but after washing and wearing they are perfect. They cover my wrist and overlap well with my SPF shirts so there is no gap. They wick sweat so never feel wet. The color is light so they don't get hot. Construction appears to be good after 3 weekends of use. Note that palm and back of hand is all the same material.

These gloves fit well and are comfortable. I like that they cover my wrists as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Dr. Shade gloves
They take care of the problem I'm having with certain medications and the sun. Fit well and work well. Do have a problem with hooks especially treble hooks getting snagged. Also Velcro is a problem. Some times better to just take them off while tieing on a crank bait and messing with anything that has Velcro. I would recommend them. They do protect the hands from the sun.

Not like other Dr. Shade gloves.
I previously had the only Dr. Shade gloves I could find and these are much different. The originals had "Dr. Shade printed on the cuff and had polyurethane palm, which were great for sun protection and had good grip. These are "Glacier Gloves" brand and no poly palms. I really liked my old gloves but lost one from a bass boat. I,m sending these back and finding some like my old ones.
