They work as described. Just got back from a week of fishing in Bull Shoals, Ar. The gloves fit good. The L/XL was true to size. No sunburn on my hands. The gloves are NOT hot. Grip could be better - the material is slick. Wetting the gloves helped improve grip. It also helped to keep my hands cool. I could still tie knots with ease due to being finger-less.. The cuffs are long enough to fit under long sleeve fishing shirts. Warning - keep these gloves away from Velcro. The material sticks very well to Velcro. Next time, I would choose the white fish scale pattern (though the fish don't mind what I look like). Should get several years of use from these glove.
