Gerber Suspension Multi-Tool
suspension multi tool
i had a pair of these for almost 2 years before it went missing. i used this almost every day, and it was able to hold up to most of what i threw at it. i did manage to bend the plier nose slightly after pushing it too far, but even when a little out of shape it performed well.
the case that came with it didnt last very long, but you dont buy them for the case.
i will be getting another pair of these. in my line of work they are perfect, and at a reasonable price so it make it alot less daunting when needing to replace them.
and they have alot more tools packed into them than the top of the line multi tools. it does make it a bit of a hassel getting some of them out. and the blade holds it edge well too.

Great for the money
I needed a replacement tool to keep in the car and bought one a few months back. Compared to many similar tools it was inexpensive and I thought it would do fine as a backup unit. However after using it on and off since March I'm surprised how well it works. I find it very handy and the extra driver bits make it a very nice piece of equipment to use. The one handed opening knife blades have proven thier value more than once. The only thing lacking is a file blade. Overall this is a nice multi-tool at a very attractive price.

I hate this tool.
Having owned two Gerber Multitools in the past (one was stolen and the other lost) over a 10 year period, I didn't hesitate a second in ordering another. I opted for the suspension because it looked nice and was $10.00 cheaper than the model I had previously owned. Should have spent the $10. I do not like the spring loaded pliers. The grip is way too wide when grasping anything (and my hands are not small). The philips screwdriver with abbreviated tip doesn't really grip a screw well. getting the tools out of the handle is a hassle. I could go on and on. I should have gone to the store and looked before I purchased instead of ordering on line. As soon as I can find some one to give me half the price I paid I will buy another Gerber sport. I use this tool in my work and carry it when hiking or fishing.
