I AM PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF THIS FINE POCKET KNIFE. I HAD A SMALL GERBER EARLIER IN LIFE. IT WAS A TRIDITIONAL LOCK BLADE WITH PLATIC HANDLE. VERY LIGHT WEIGHT.
THIS ON HAS A METAL HANDLE (FRAME) WHICH ADDS TO THE WEIGHT.
IT IS A LOCKING BLADE KNIFE, HOWEVER IT TAKES A STRONG FINGER NAIL TO MOVE SIDE OF FRAME TO RELAEASE THE LOCK.
ALTHOUGH THE QUALITY APPEARTS TO BE GREAT, I PERFER TRIDITIONAL LOCKING AND LIGTHER WEIGHT.

This knife is very well made. And I like the black blade on the other hand the black finish will come off. Then it has a little more character then what it did when I first got it. The blade is very sharp like sharp a nof to cut hair off your arm sharp. But smaller than I thought it was.but pocket knifes are so-posed to be small.

I recently purchased this knife, and I suppose for $8 it would be a good knife. I especially do not like the lock blade release.
