I purchased this knife two years ago and love it. I have had it in my pocket ever since I purchased it. It is light weight and keeps a sharp edge. One issue I have come across is that it is almost impossible to open one handed, but that is a good thing for me. I had a knife open via placing keys in the same pocket before.

Gerber focuses on making good quality knives for the average hunter, fisherman, & camper's budget. This is a nice little pocket knife thats works great as an EDC. (Every day Carry) Its easy to keep clean, lightweight, looks cool, and can meet the average joe's need. I would reccomend this as an alternative to a bulkier multitool.

It is a good knife at first. I own two of them. When it comes time to sharpen it, be very careful. The blade "edge" is not very big, and when sharpening it on a stone, it will take all of the blade away very quickly if you aren't careful, at which point you will have to put it on an electric bench grinder.
