I purchased knife about 4 months ago for general multi-purpose use. The blade has maintained a pretty good edge with little to know sharpening. My major complaint would have to be with the blade lock and rust . The blade lock is made from part of the frame and if you are not really careful it sometimes gives way-not stayling locked. Rust is not bad-it is just starting to show up around the screws/bolts.
