i bought this at a yard sale in my town for 10 bucks brand new stilling the package. its extremely sharp and since its slightly harder to open than other knives it doesn't open in my pocket. Great Knife

the blade on this knife is great - sharp, and stays sharp.
however, the way the blade and frame fit together makes it pretty much impossible for one hand opening. every single time I wanted to open the knife, I would have to start it with two hand before being able to use the thumb stud. also, the screws started to come loose very soon after purchase.
this was the second gerber knife I purchased, and I was unhappy with both of them.

This knife is sharp, durable, and is there when you need it. My only complaint like the other reviews is yes it does rust a little bit.

i have had this knife for about five years and it is still great the only bad thing is it rusts easily and you need to oil it about every two months
