I bought this knife 2 months ago and it still looks new. The blade is easily opened and closed with one hand once it's broken in. There is zero blade play. I occasionally give it a couple of honing strokes to keep it sharp because I frequently cut cardboard and paper with it, and it really does have great edge retention thanks to the 440A steel. The back end of the knife is solid steel, so you can use it to smash and crush things. I have found that the grip feels and performs like the renowned "G-10" material that other companies use. Also, the tools are quite handy and work well, but don't try to build a house with them.

Great little knife. I put an edge on it on day one and I still have not had to touch it for three weeks after regular use on the farm and in the bush. For the price you get a great knife.

That is the lock release. It has what is called a plunger lock instead of a liner or frame lock.A:Â
That button unlocks the blade to fold it back into the handle. The other button, the slide lock either locks it open OR closed.1 of 1
