This is one of the best folding knives I have found at any price. Blade steel sharpens well & holds an edge. Blade opens and locks in place with a percise feel that only comes from quality manufacturing. I've had & used mine for years and will not venture outdoors without it.

best knife i own. its like an updated version of my fathers buck knife. very sharp, very durable, great buy. try to break this knife. this knife is even used by bear on man vs. wild, a tv show on discovery channel. thats where i first saw it and thought i would pick one up. i dont regret it. cheap enough where i can use it to do anything i please and tuff enough to take it.

This knife is awesome! It maintains a razor edge . The rubberized handle will let you keep it in your hand even when you are up to your elbows in guts. I would reccomend it to anyone. The length is perfect, not too long, not too short.

I see no thumb stud, no thumb hole, no thumb-nail slot, absolutely nothing to give one's fingers a way to open this knife. What gives??? I have a Gerber "Gator II" that has a hole in the blade for opening the knife. I see nothing on this knife to allow opening it. I love my Gator II. It is not extremely fast opening, but this "Gator" would take most of the day to open!Answers

I've had the knife for two years and never once had a problem opening it. It's slick ... just squeeze the blade top with your fingers and pull to open.1 of 1
