Rated 5 out of 5Â by scott3234 Strong fishing partner
I've put this knife to use for two fishing seasons and it has yet to make me regret buying it. It's a perfect secondary knife for fishing to cut line, bait, etc. as the rubber handle allows for a good grip in all conditions. I wouldn't bank my life on this knife, but for all-purpose use without worrying about dulling your main knife, I give it 2 thumbs up.

When I first received the knife I had to put an edge on it. After that I believe for the money you can't beat it, The knife holds an edge for a long time. It has a very comfortable grip and easy to put a edge on. I would recommend it to any serious hunters.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by WhereDidAllMyFeetGo Good overall knife
I have had this knife going on about 4 years now and it still holds strong. Once sharp, it stays that way for alot longer than most other knives I own, although therein lies the problem. This knife isn't very easily sharpened. With that being my main quarrel with this knife (and it not being a big one) this is still overall a very good knife and I expect to use it for many years to come.

I see no thumb stud, no thumb hole, no thumb-nail slot, absolutely nothing to give one's fingers a way to open this knife. What gives??? I have a Gerber "Gator II" that has a hole in the blade for opening the knife. I see nothing on this knife to allow opening it. I love my Gator II. It is not extremely fast opening, but this "Gator" would take most of the day to open!Answers

I've had the knife for two years and never once had a problem opening it. It's slick ... just squeeze the blade top with your fingers and pull to open.1 of 1
