I usually use this hatchet to chop and cut kindling. It is perfect for smaller campfires. It has a very small form factor and seems really durable. I use a dual-grit Lansky Puck to sharpen it and it holds a pretty reasonable edge but let's face it, it is not a Gransfors Bruks or Wetterlings but it gets the small jobs done.
The only real gripe I have is that the rubber retention strap that holds the knife in the handle can slip off sometimes during use but then again, they recommend that you remove the knife before using. I also predict that the retention strap will dry rot and break eventually.

This is the best little axe ever. With a sharpen blade the axe can cut most of everything in two swings. I have even cut a tree that is 6" round in 5mins tops. The blade can get as sharp as a razor blade. I take this axe hunting and can clean a trail as fast as I can walk.
