I've been looking for a good pair of shearers to snip the wings off of pheasant and quail. I was pleasantly surprised when I used these shears. They look like scissors, but the serration on one side aids in the cutting through bone and cartilage.
These are the best I've found, so far. Still waiting for that perfect pair of shearers that requires less force to cut. They should've made these with pruner handles instead of scissor handles, but they work for me.

We started using this product years ago to 'cut bait' aboard vessels. It is far safer & easier to cut w/o a knife. I have several pair now in all vessels, home & camp. All who use them once are sold. The scissor can replace a knife in certain places.
