First time reviewer... Just bought this knife an hour ago and already my thumb feels like I have an 80 year old's arthritis (I'm 24) from trying to open the locking mechanism. Usually I'm very satisfied with the quality of gerber products but this knife is a severe dissapointment. You have to push a tiny switch to deactivate the locking mechanism and it's just about impossible to accomplish with one hand. Already the switch has gotten stuck multiple times to the point where I needed a lighter to push it out of the "safe" position. I'll tell you what's not safe... Trying to activate a tiny switch that takes rediculous effort while the blade is open. Not only that but the F.A.S.T. open technology only opens the blade about halfway. Now I'm just hoping they'll take it back so I can buy a knife that's actually practical to operate.

Didnt read the description I guess. The tiniest knife Ive ever seen. Not worth the money.

I wanted a pocket knife with a clip that did not seem bulky in my pants pocket. This knife fits that. It doesn't jab me in the leg when I sit down. The spring assist makes for quick easy opening. I like the lock on the side to keep it from opening accidently.
