I bought 5 of these Gerber pocket knives for my sons, friends and myself as Christmas gifts. I received thank you calls from everyone telling me how much they first liked the appearance of the knife and then later how useful it was on a daily basis. One of them used it to skin a deer. Another used it to make kindling for his campfire. Another used it around his workshop to clean and scrape old paint and rust off what he was working on. Several liked the belt clip. I like it because when I have a hold of something in my left hand, I can easily open the knife with my right hand without letting go of the item in my left hand.

I love the fact that the speed the blade comes out....the on down fall of this knife is that the blade dulls and the blade gets loose very easily
