Rated 4 out of 5Â by Tony112 Durable knife
I bought this knife about 4 years ago and it has not left my side since. I have used it for everything and it still opens smooth as silk. The only problem I had was the pocketclip broke off after about a year of use, but other that that, this knife was well worth the price.

I have owned this knife for over five years. I loved it so much I had it personalized by an engraver. I use it for every-day tasks, always use it as my primary tool when backpacking, and it has deployed with me to Afghanistan. I would not use this knife in a fight but it is a fantastic tool.
I have many knives and I will say that this is not the precision knife that Benchmade offers, but it is good for its price range. It holds an edge moderately well, I sharpen it probably about once a month during regular use and I finish the sharpening with a sharpening steel. The steeled edge tends to last longer than a honed one, but isn't quite as razor sharp.
There is a tiny bit of play in the blade when opened. The tip probably moves about 1/8 inch, but it will not close and feels solid under cutting pressure. I sometimes have even split wood or used it like an axe by hitting the back with a piece of wood and it was rock solid.
Given the punishment this knife has endured it held up extremely well and only just recently has any real fault happened. I lost a thumb-stud, but it was the left one so no big deal as I am right handed and once the knife is broken in you don't even need the stud to open the knife. Press on the assist on the back and flick and it will open.
Pluses: easy open, easy close, solid lock, holds an edge and sharpens well with ease, very light and moderately compact, very durable under all kinds of conditions, doesn't rust.
Minuses: a little wobble in the blade, pocket clip for right-handers only.
Overall, unless you are going to spend at least $80 on a knife there are no better knives than this one. Buy it and you will love it.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Youngling Loose Blade
I bought the knife and not 3 weeks later I had to tighten the screw because the blade was loose, that worked for about 5 days and then it happened again. When I went to tighten it again the screw stopped working, I could turn it all I wanted and the blade still wobbled. I aim to buy a fixed blade knife the next time I go shopping. There's probably better knives out there I wouldn't jump at this offer.

This knife is one son of a gun! I love how easy it is to open and sharpen. The only reason I dont have it is because I lost it! I look forward to getting another one soon.

There is a belt clip on the right side so it is set up for right handers primarily. The serration is very sharp and about 1 1/4" long. See my review for other details and pictures.A:Â
