Wow what a great compound bow. I purchased the Genesis because all the other youth bows being sold were actually quite cheap quality. I wanted my children to learn archery with some decent equipment that would last longer than 30 days. I am glad that I went with this bow. The price was average but worth it. The bow is built like a quality adult bow and the included arrows were aluminum. Having no set draw length makes this bow very easily to change between different users. I am having difficulty getting my children to come inside the house for dinner. All they do all day is practice shooting their bow continuously which is what I wanted.

I bought this for my 7 yr old for his birthday. It is his first "real" bow. I can not say enough about it. My three year old and my 9 year old can use it too because it is so versitle. It is not too heavy for them to hold up unlike some of the other brands. It adjusts to new users with out having to change any settings on it. I expect him to use it until he is at least 10 maybe even 12. The draw flexibility and weight settings are perfect for younger kids. I would and have recommended this to my friends for their kids.

I want to buy the Genesis bow for a 13 year old. Should I buy the Genesis® Mini Compound Bow Package for Youth or the normal Genesis?Answers
A:Â
I would go with normal Genesis.A:Â
The mini Genesis has a 6-12 LB draw, where as the standard Genesis has a 10-20 LB draw. As you can see there is not much difference in draw weight. This is all dependent on personal preference, and how much your child will be able to pull back on the bow. Thank you!1 of 1
