  • Benefits of a football head
  • Added action of a worm-hook
  • Moves freely with the bait
The Gene Larew Biffle HardHead Jighead offers the benefits of a football head plus the added action of a worm-hook that moves freely with the bait! Tommy Biffle used this head to win the BASS Elite Series ''Sooner Run'' event.
Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing jighead! These jigheads impart amazing action to whatever plastic lure is used on them. My favorite is the Gene Larew 6" Salt Flik'r. On a recent outing, the combination produced a 7 lb bass from 25 feet deep. When rigged weedless (why do it any other way?), the lure is quite snag-free. April 18, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by extra action The extra action of the swinging hook on the Biffle Hardhead means more fish in the boat. I used it all last year on my soft plastics, especially the Biffle bug, and caught more fish as well as larger fish than with other presentations. My experience was that the heaviest weight was best unless you're fishing in under 5 feet of water, in which case I would use the next heaviest weight. I wound up not using the lighter weights at all. The plastics want to rise in the water column, so you need the heavier weights to keep them down. April 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by My best producer. Combined with the Biffle Bug this is my favorite largemouth lure. I use it with a rattle and the bass eat 'em up! July 5, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Biffle bug jig head i really like the lure, hope to try on walleye next, although it's a bit overpriced, June 28, 2011
